Apple says 'yes I want' to augmented reality
The Cupertino giant will add this technology to their new iPhone and launch smart glasses
Before the irruption of Pokemon Go! and awaiting the announcement of Magic Leap, the big companies have launched to fight for the career of augmented reality. A new product that is the great revolution that Tim Cook plans to implement in Apple.
As reported by Mark Gurman on Bloomberg, Apple will add augmented reality to the iPhone next year, and who knows, may finally reach augmented reality glasses finally.
Apple has dedicated a group of researchers working on this new technology to get ahead of its competitors. Rumors suggest that the iPhone will be the first protagonist to receive augmented reality in the Cupertino giant, according to Bloomberg.
The first information points to the fact that the camera of the new iPhone 8 will be the epicenter of Apple's augmented reality. Although Bloomberg says it will continue the line of Pokemon Go! and will use a map app to instantly display real-time information about the monuments they focus on with their lenses.
It only remains to be seen if Apple is right with this bet or follows the line of its competitors like Google with its famous virtual reality glasses that, for the moment, have not had the expected success.
